Document Certification Procedures – The Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Your Gateway to the Arab World, Always by Your Side

Since its establishment in December 1970, under the impetus and with the support of the League of Arab States, the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce (FACC) has been responsible for promoting trade, investment, and fostering a deeper understanding between French businesses and the Arab world.

To continue meeting your document certification needs, the FACC offers a daily, fast, immediate, and personalized service, providing manual signatures and stamped seals on all original company and export product documents.

Given this mandate, it is essential that all stakeholders involved in fostering economic relations between French companies and Arab states prioritize the legalization services offered by the FACC.

Important Notice:
Effective January 1st, 2025, and in accordance with the Board decision dated December 11th, 2024, the legalization fee will be €70 per certified document.

VISA SERVICE

French exporters to certain Arab countries are required to present, upon arrival of their goods and for customs clearance purposes, a set of export documents duly certified by the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the consulate of the destination country. These documents include:

• Certificate of Origin
• Commercial Invoice
• Transport Certificate
• Supplier Certificate
• Analysis Certificate
• Phytosanitary Certificate
• Health Certificate
• Halal Certificate
• Export and Dioxin Certificate
• Packing List (required by Kuwait only if the customs code is not indicated on the invoice)

All documents must first be certified by the relevant French Chamber of Commerce corresponding to the exporting company, except those marked with an asterisk, which must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Legalization Service – 55 Boulevard des Invalides, 75007 Paris.

Please enclose:

• One photocopy of each document for our records
• A check for the visa fees made payable to the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce

Visa Services Availability
The FACC Legalization Office is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. 

Our Chamber can also forward your documents to the consulate of the relevant country.
To do so, please provide:

• Two stamped envelopes (one for sending to the consulate, and one for the consulate’s return)
• A check payable to the respective consulate for their fees

As fees vary by country, please check with the appropriate consulate beforehand. 

Note: Legalization by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also required for:

• KBIS company registration documents
• Notarized deeds
• Documents issued by agricultural or veterinary services
